Pete Limon, PhD began his educational journey at the University of The Pacific as a student athlete and graduated with a BA in Sports Medicine. Eight years later he earned his MS in software engineering, Business Information Systems and an MBA. His thirst for education did not end there, later earning his doctoral degree in Computer Science specializing in Information Assurance. He has over twelve years of experience working as an educator as well as a variety of administrative functions from lead instructor to Associate Dean and Director of Education. He has held many CompTIA Certifications such as Security plus, A +, and Network +, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP and is currently completing his Cisco Instructor Academy. In addition, Dr Limon has over 17 years of field experience in programming, networking and security. Dr Limon moved to Northern CA as a boy, and now lives in San Diego with his wife and 6 children. His hobbies include playing guitar and piano and wrenching on cars. His current project is a 1984 Chevy Corvette. Dr Pete’s Motto is to live every day as if it is your last.
